2005-02-10 00:00

Q: The Foreign Ministry of Democratic People's Republic of Korea announced that the DPRK would suspend its participation in the six-party talks for an indefinite period and that they had made nuclear weapons. What's your comment on it?

A: We have noted relevant reports and are watching the situation. China persistently stands for the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsular and maintaining peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. We hope the talks can be continue.
