In order to further improve the efficiency of visa processing and enhance people-to-people exchanges between China and Greece, as from 20th November 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Greece will cancel the online appointment for Chinese visa application. Applicants can submit their visa applications to the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Athens without online appointment during working time. Please follow steps below:

1. Fill out the visa application form on the website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (https://www.visaforchina.cn/ATH2_EN/),  download and print out the full application form, and sign the confirmation page. 

2. Applicants are also required to submit the application form and the relevant documents to the Visa Center on site. The processing time and visa fees remain unchanged. Please refer to the attached link for details of materials required for various types of visa applications: http://gr.china-embassy.gov.cn/eng/lsqw/lhqz/202308/t20230831_11136230.htm

Kind reminder: After cancellation of online appointment, more applicants are expected on-site during peak hours. Proper time arrangement is recommended. Applicants who have made an appointment before 20th November are still valid.
